Makeup by Friday - All blue

My inspiration for this week was the talk Barbie doll. As she was just a inspiration (Sometimes I have no idea what to do, and by looking at Barbie picture's faces, the images begins appear on my imagination) I got the beautiful dark blue from this one and made this all blue eye makeup. Look at the results and I really like it!

Makeup by Friday - Re doing it!

As I have mentioning in the past, I'm still learning (and I'll always be) and trying to improve my work on makeup. Based on this affirmation I decided, I think I mentioned this as well than I was redoing the last makeup by Friday one as I didn't like the result in the first place. Well, here is the "new" one... Sorry it's not very much like Barbie's, it's just a inspiration... Here, she's again...

The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn–Part 2 Bella Doll

I have tried to do this one,I thought was easy, it should be,  but It seemed very hard, I didn't like the final result, I mean, I was trying to get close to this Barbie's look, but I don't thing I got closer at all, the first problem was, the eyeshadow I used for the dark color, as trying to use a dark brown, for some reason the color looked black(I should had started over, but I was in a hurry...sorry), I decided to post anyways as a learn point, so here is the result:

I almost didn't post today as I didn't like the way this makeup looked - I mean didn't really look the way I intended, just a couple of details here and there. I should have used a lighter color at the eyelid. just to mentioned one - I'll redo this one...definitely. Anyways, I was trying to get something like this:

I got to redo this...anyways...I decided to post to record my work... when I get there I can look behind and see my mistakes.

Makeup by Friday - Wearable Barbie makeup

Today I decided to do some day makeup. I didn't really like the eyes, I should have used a regular eyeliner, not a liquid one, it would give a softer look. Anyways, I decided to post it as I'm still learning, that way i record my "home work".

Makeup by Friday - Hard Rock Cafe Barbie doll 2010

I saw the Hard Rock Cafe  Barbie doll 2010 and decided to go with her. I started doing it in a way and the end was not really what i was expecting... but I liked it.

Anyways the result didn't really look like her...Let's see it?

Makeup by Friday - Hope Diamond Barbie Doll

I don't thing I have done a great job on this, I have to say it's very hard to record it, I got to find a easier set up for this. Also when I take the picture and look at the whole thing after it's done, then I see that I could had blend more here and there, place more eyeshadow or make a better liner. I think it's a lot easier to practice on someone's face that on your on.

For this week i picked Hope Diamond Barbie Doll. It's good to find close up pictures of the dolls, I wish this was closer, but that's ok, I'm just practicing, it's not supposed to be perfet.

I should had done a better job - Shame on me!!!

Here are the results:

I used a medium and dark blue, but everything was mixed together and we can't see the very nice shades theye were, something I got to learn.

And, the white has a beautifull shinning that its not showing in the picture, sorry :-(
