Celebrity Monday - Country Rose Barbie Doll

Today I won't "talk" about someone in special, but a place very know by the country music industry, The Grand Ole Opry. It's a weekly country music (also bluegrass, folk, gospel and comedy performances) concert located in Nashville, Tennessee since 1925.

According to Wikipedia it's has been called  the "home of American music" and "country's music famous". Nowadays the presentations are broadcasting as a Saturday night  shows to nearly 30 states and and also is on radio nationally since 1939. Some of the well know country music singers are regular in the stage:

A sample of it...not a huge fan of Carrie Underwood, but I like her voice!

The doll, the first of  the Grand Ole Opry Collection was released on 1997. She's a a Collector Edition and has a certificate of authenticity.
