Mattel did recognize the jewelry and in 2009 released a  Barbra Streisand Barbie Doll

Nothing against Barbre Streisand...I actually remember being a kid and watch her movies, I still do! Also, she's a legendary singer, has 30 platinum albums and a couple of Oscars to her credit as you could read above, and is the top-selling female artist in American music history. But, I really thing something doesn't look right with the doll, honestly, When i saw it, I didn't remember Barbre at all, I don't know, don't get me wrong is a nice doll...But for me she looks a little off. Well, one more Pink label Barbie doll, I'm sure a true delight for fans and collectors alike!

Life have been crazy recently, i haven't had time to sit down and look on my blog this week, do you know? i wish the day had 6 more hours, that way i could do everything i need and still sleep tight, my dreams...

Anyways, i couldn't let pass this date, yep! Today she's 53 years younger and keeping getting younger, following the fashion and dream world of million of little kids and grown up ones, us! she makes me happy! Happy Birthday Dear Barbara... No more...we all know how she was born

Celebrity Monday - Madonna - ooak dakotas song celebrity

We know at this time and point there's no such Madonna Barbie - As i had posted HERE - But what the heck, seems people wants to and Mattel may not think is a good deal? well I'm not here to talk about Mattel business's decisions... But I can say that if you watch the last Superbowl, 2012 edition - love the commercials BTW - the celebrity was Madonna, she had a great performance, i love it! and I'm not fun of hers.

Barbie Fun Club

I have sign up for the Barbie Fan club on the first day of subscription, well, first i had some technical issues, then with no surprises it was back order! at least looks like I'm in!!!We'll see, just waiting now...they mentioned by March 15th.OK!

Vintage Wednesday - Barbie's Collectors Cards

I have had this item for a while now - it's not vintage, it's from 1992, but reminds me of a good time, it's like so long ago, a precious time, a vintage time, something unique - and I would like to share it with all of you.

My father-in-law is a big non-sports card collector, so I always see him and my husband spending a good deal of time looking over cards, cards, and more cards.  Some of them are very interesting, with "sketches", unique pictures, and different drawings, which sometimes draw me into looking at them as well.

Well, last Christmas he gave me a box of cards as a present - and to be honest, I never even thought that Barbie cards existed, I haven't opened the box yet, I don't know yet if I will...  But, I really, really want to...

Anyways this got me to look around and around and I began finding all kinds of nice card sets all over the place...  including a number of Barbie sets...  I wonder what I might get next Christmas...
