According to fashion doll guide it's a easy to find item. I guess it makes the price of the product cheaper, great for people who (like me!) has little money to invest in a collector's item and loves accessorize the pretty doll.
I liked the packing, but not too impressed with the colors of the box, the blue contrast of the booklet would look prettier on a light pick background i guess, just my opinion.

The Barbie doll was released on 2010 as part of the Ladies of the 80's Collection. She's a pink label.
Notice the photo where she has "orange" hair? This doll's hair
goes one step further than the real one, the creator decide to go red/orange/yellow with this, giving the doll's hair a perfect color. The fabrics of her clothes looks great, with a rich taffeta
for her skirt, and fabric with a lace overlay making up her corset. She
is also wearing a plastic flower necklace, three metal chain bracelets,
and a black/gold elastic cord ankle bracelet over her fishnets.
As far the appearance, I can't say Mattel haven't try to make the doll look like Cyndi. The Teresa head mold was a perfect fit to it, as the mouth and cheeks mimic Cyndi's face very well.
So far, so good folks! Based on online reviews this doll is so far the better, looking wise, of the three on this collection.
This set contains a dress and an open toe high heels. The white gloves are not included. The dress is a ice blue and sea green satin gown, the bodice color is the same satin green from the skirt with a pale blue accent band.
The green shoes contains a small pearl on the top of it.
Last week I couldn't post because I was at my father in law house. We had a winter storm here, then we had no power for 4 days, so we had no hit and no hot water. Anyways we survived and I took some pictures in the way to my father's house, in the next day of course.

I had seen her on some reality shows like the 24 hour Catwalk and Americas next Top Model.
The doll was released in 2005 and is a gold label. Overall is a nice add to any collection. You can still find her for anything around $70.00.
I almost didn't post today as I didn't like the way this makeup looked - I mean didn't really look the way I intended, just a couple of details here and there. I should have used a lighter color at the eyelid. just to mentioned one - I'll redo this one...definitely. Anyways, I was trying to get something like this:

Our histories are spanning like all of us, one of our own came from a comic book family, the dad a non-sport collector, previously owning a comic book store, passing from one to the next,a Star Wars passionate. Another of us is a girl with a big imagination living within the world of the perfect doll, Barbie(without the "fresh to be" tag). Another is still training to master that Super Saiyan plateau... With one more searching to find a cure for the mutant virus...
Anyway, if is or not, someone, us, you, our kids, always we have to keep up the comic book world, otherwise, if it stopped in the past, we would not be here, maybe this history of once newspaper turned CG would be forgotten...the good knowledge must always be existing...Come enjoy it!
