My Collection - So in Style S.I.S - Grace

This Barbie I got on barbie collector.com for a really good price, seemed like it was end of stock and they were trying to sell it, I guess because she was really cheap. I got her a while ago, last year maybe? I'm not too sure. All I remember (I'm really bad remembering things...) back then this collection was all over the internet because her facial features were unique compared to the "regular" Barbies and the designer, Stacey McBride, did such a great job that the collection was nothing but success.

My Collection - The Museum Collection : Gustav Klimt

I'm not into art, don't know anything about it, if someone start a conversation with me, it won't be a conversation as I'll just listen...the little I know I studied at school.

Well, Barbie teach us something huh?

Gustav Klimt (1862 - 1918) was a Austrian painter and had the female body as his principal subject.

The Barbie doll was designed by Linda Kyaw.

I got mine as a gift to myself. The time I got it I had a little extra money and decided to get a Barbie doll. I got her at BarbieCollector.com - She was on sale and the shipping was free.

The designer tried to get as close as possible of the paint, the face is very similar to the artist piece, I really liked the face by the way.

 She's a pink label and was released in 2011

I wouldn't mind the other two to complete the set - She's part of the 2011 The Museum Collection ( Leonardo da Vinci, Vincent Van Gogh, and Gustav Klimt )

My collection - Barbie and Ken "She said yes" set

Do you remember when this phrase made the Barbie's, more like Ken's fan the, She said yes! for Ken, when they were finally getting back together? you probably do I'm sure...

As most of the things, of course, Mattel had to came with a doll to represent that moment, and Ken had to be in it too.

My Collection - Bob Mackie Circus Barbie Doll

This doll was a Gift from my husband on Christmas of 2010. He ordered it and had it delivered to his Dad's house and got to me on Christmas morning. Of course i was...can't even describe how happy I was when i got this doll, let's see some pictures? I can't remember if she was my first Gold Label (I don't think she's...) Doll but she was one of the ones that I look at it and said WOW!AWESOME!!!

My Collection - 2008 Holiday Barbie

I found this Barbie on sale at Walmart, a department store here, I was wiling to wait a little more to see if they would try to get rid of it and put it on clearance, but my husband said it was better you get itand be on the safe side, well he was right, i got and one week after we have nothing but empty shelf's, glad I got it:-)

 

My Collection - Puppy Water Park and Bella

This set I got from Mattel on a promo some stores had on Christmas time last year - HERE - you had to spend $15 in Barbie Products , send the form and receipt for Mattel and you would get a free Barbie Doll and Tawny Horse Set, but because they didn't have it anymore I got this set plus a $5.00 coupon to get a Mattel product, so off course i got a Barbie - Keep looking...

 

I got the Bella Barbie from Twilight - So pretty...

My Collection - Barbie Collector I Love Lucy "Lucy Is Envious" Kelly Dolls

As some of you may know I don't have my Barbie Dolls with me since i don't have enough space at my house, so most of the times i forget which one i have when i see it somewhere or something like that - I'm glad my husband have a better memory than mine...
He actually gave me the idea of start to take pictures of them before bringing it to his dad's house, where I storage them. I do have some pictures that i took, but my computer is getting full. Since i don't want save more and more pictures on my computer, so I'll be posting in here every so ofter some of those pictures. Today, I'll start with a Kelly doll from the "I love Lucy" line.
