Today browsing on Barbie collector.com I got myself reading the campaign to bring Barbie and Ken together "again", well, we all know they are good friends, but they have been apart for a couple years now. Come on... I guess it's time to get over and be happy, I'm sure everyone would love to see this great couple together again, wouldn't you? specially now than he's turning 50 ( I just hope he doesn't act like in the toy story 3 movie, in that case, I' won't blame Barbie if she doesn't accept him back - LOL!!!)

Hoje navegando no Barbie collector.com eu me deparei com a campanha para a reconciliacao de Barbie e Ken, "novamente", bem, todos nós sabemos que eles são bons amigos, mas estao separados, ja faz um tempo. ! Eu acho que é hora de superar tudo, deixar o passado pra tras e ser feliz!!! tenho certeza que todos gostariam de ver este belo casal juntos novamente, não é mesmo? especialmente agora que ele esta a beira de completar 50 anos! e ainda lindo do jeito que e ( So espero q ele nao aja como no filme toy story 3, ai meu bem, nao culparia a Barbie em nao aceita-lo de volta, kkkkk)!
Então, vamos todos apoiar o Ken!

Gente precisamos apoiar a campanha de preservacao ao meio ambiente e botar a mao na massa mesmo, quer dizer...nessa sacola linda da Barbie, reusavel, nao sei se ja existe por ai, mas a "moda" agora (pra nao dizer conscientizacao)e usar sacolas reusaveis, vc ja vai ao supermercado com sua propria "bag", dessa maneira nao tem que trazer saco de plastico pra casa, que jogado ao meio ambiente pode demorar mais de 100 anos para se decompor. Entrando nessa "onda", a Mattel criou essa bolsa linda para vc ir as compras com a Barbie :-)

Barbie of the month - Barbie do mes - January/janeiro 2010 - FAO Schwarz 1990 Winter Fantasy Barbie

I found this Barbie on one of my trips to the library last week on my day off, i was looking over a collector encyclopedia e for some reason this doll catch my eyes and i had to place her as a Barbie of the month, specially with snow all around, definitely gives the real feeling of winter. She wears a blue velveteen gown with white faux fur trim, muff and ornamented headpiece - This Barbie had a the plastic earrings with a "diamond "on the middle, if you can remember (if you are from the 80's, sure you can!!!), but any customer who complained to Mattel about the the little diamond piece coming out, Mattel send those customer a replacement head with a silver earring on it. Do you want more reasons for the Barbie of the month? Enough for me :-)

Eu encontrei esta Barbie em uma de minhas visitas a biblioteca na semana passada no meu dia de folga, eu estava dando em uma olhandinha em uma enciclopedia de collecionador e, por alguma razão esta boneca me chamou a atencao e eu tive que colocá-la como Barbie do mês, especialmente agora, nesse mes, com neve por toda parte, definitivamente, dá a sensação real de inverno. Ela usa um vestido azul de veludo, com pele falsa de animal branca, "Muff" e boné ornamentados - Esta Barbie tinha uns brincos de plástico com um "diamante" no meio, se você consegue lembrar (se você é dos anos 80, claro q vai lembrar! !), mas qualquer cliente que se queixou a Mattel, na epoca, sobre o pedaço do pequeno "diamante"(que geralmente caia), a empresa enviou aos seus clientes uma outra cabeça como substituição, mas com um brinco de prata. Você quer mais razões para saber porque resolvir coloca-la para a Barbie do mês? Bem estas sao suficientes para mim :-)
