Hi Ada, I'm not too sure, but i got the same idea you did, seems like this doll had a remake this year, because i have seen all over the internet, but i don't want to get this wrong...I'll be going to the stores by Monday to get the Easter ones, so I'll be able to see if this is a error or...I'm not too sure what's the deal.
Yes, for some odd reason Mattel has not released an Easter Barbie for a few years. Same thing with the Valentine Barbie. They just re-released the one from the previous year.
