Celebrity Monday - Ruth Handler

I think as a good way to start the new year is to remember the mind behind the creation (not to say she designer the first one, but the main idea was hers), not better than celebrate Ruth Handler - The creator of Barbie Doll.
I couldn't find anything, really, about this "celebrity" online, about her "personal" life . She was born on November 4th, 1916, was the co founder of Mattel, was married to Elliot Handler and gave us the greatest doll ( for some of the world population) of all the time.
She passed on April 27, 2002.
